MuseSounds are playback instruments designed specifically for using with your score inside of MuseScore Studio. They are not compatible with other programs or plugins.

MuseSounds Editions of sample libraries have been created from scratch, as brand new products, to work with the MuseSounds Engine inside MuseScore Studio.

1. Download MuseScore Studio

  • Access MuseScore Studio through the MuseHub desktop application.

  • The download, installation, and launch processes should initiate automatically.

2. Download MuseSounds

  • Navigate to the MuseSounds tab/page on the MuseHub desktop application.

  • Select the desired product to download or purchase.

  • Log into or create a MuseHub account

  • After a successful purchase, the product will automatically download, install, and authorize.

3. Start MuseScore Studio

  • Launch MuseScore Studio and create a new score or open an existing one.

    • Note: If MuseScore Studio is already running, restart it to recognize newly installed Muse Sounds.

  • In the mixer, click the "Sound" dropdown at the top of the staff's channel strip and select an entry from the "MuseSounds" menu to assign it to a specific instrument staff within MuseScore Studio.
