Musehub as an application

Hi, I'm a bit new here, but I just want to get this out here.
My dad is worried that MuseHub is going to send viruses to my computer if I were to execute it. I've found an alternative to get Musescore 4 studio but really want Musesounds, which is only accessible to Musehub. Can someone clarify to my dad so I can get MuseHub or find an alternative to get Musesounds?

MuseHub is perfectly safe to use. There may have been some confusion with the previous version of MuseHub which used P2P connections to accelerate downloading (which can appear as many open port connections - but not malicious). The current version of MuseHub no longer does this.
The MuseHub installer requires administrator permission in order to install a system service which facilities functionality with VST plugins - as these are usually installed in locations on the system that don't have user access. This service is also used for updating MuseHub itself - bit of a chicken-egg scenario.
