We’re excited to introduce the new Muse Hub experience, which we've been working on over the past year. This revamped Muse Hub is packed with new content from both Muse Group and our fantastic Muse Partners. You’ll find apps, plug-ins, and a plethora of new Elements and Muse Sounds.
Today, we're launching a public preview of this new experience. As with any preview, there are Known Issues, and may be some issues and kinks as we work to streamline everything. Your feedback is invaluable as we fix any problems that arise, so please let us know in the forum here, or by using the issue reporting feature in the Hub itself.

Love the new look! But I can't open any of the product pages (and thus, cannot report a problem). Every time I click on a product page, I am hit with an error.

Update: We were experiencing some issues this morning with account activations not being properly initialised. This is resolved; but anyone who signed up today is encouraged to sign out, and then go through the account sign up process again; this will ensure your account is correctly initialised.
Your previous account wasn't being properly created in our database, so you may have found some strange issues with the app!

The new Muse Hub doesn't appear to load on my system. When I run it, it just silently fails in the background. Seems par for the course of my luck with Metro apps. The installer did complete successfully, at least according to its log file. The log file for Muse Hub itself just repeats this for every time I manually run Muse Hub from the start menu:

Nothing is in the Windows logs to indicate why the application is closing, either, which is rather perplexing. I have ensured my firewall is configured to allow it Internet access and my security software recognizes it as a trusted application.
I seem to recall having issues getting the original Muse Hub to run, but that had to do with the Windows App SDK runtime being missing on my system, which I imagine should be installed since the previous version of Muse Hub ran just fine.
It doubt this is at all helpful, but Process Monitor shows the following files accessed just prior to Muse.exe exiting. You can see the final moment it writes to the log file first:

I cannot find and download Muse FX in this version

I have lot of problems:
1. minor one: when I open Musehub now the icon on the dock remains, and not only in the menu bar (previous version was only in menu bar)
2. In the main screen it continues to ask me to give permission to install content, if I click enable it seems to be already enabled.
3. No possibility to change language anymore?
4. Where are the Muse FX?
5. If I try to install musesound it stop the download before it's finished so some instruments does not work. I tried to uninstall and reinstall but anytime it stop the download in a different point and miss some instruments randomly.

Thanks for the feedback!
1. There is a toggle to turn off the system menu icon; however, because the app is now a "full window" app, you'll likely still see it in the dock as well rather than a flyout from the menu bar. We had quite a lot of feedback from the first version that indicated people would rather be able to resize it, move it etc - rather than have a purely in-the-tray app.
2. If you ensure that the toggle for Muse Hub is switched on in the "Login items" page of macOS system settings, the banner/notification should disappear.
3. We'll be adding full language support (plus for all the content pages within the Hub) soon - there are a _lot_ more words in this version :)
4. The MuseFX have just been published so they should start showing up on the plug-in page shortly. They're installed together as a bundle now, not individually.
5. Thanks for reporting - we'll look into this, and we may need to add some file checking logic so that it can better support broken downloads. This one is definitely logged internally!

Wow! I like the new look and functionality! I have a couple questions and also one issue:
1. I do like the addition of paid sound packs made for MS. Since a lot of these packs were previously streamlined for DAWs (such as spitfire audio products and cinesamples), does the new editions just streamline it for musescore's notation based playback? (hope that makes sense). If so, I'm a fan!
2. Also with the paid sound packs: Whenever I click on one to see details, on some there are videos (e.g. 'Cinestrings Articulation Walkthrough). The video is unable to play and states: "Error: Unsupported video type or invalid file path". I would definitely want to watch a walkthrough before a purchase.
3. Following the last issue, I would love to see in-depth guides and walkthroughs of each product! Showing what they can do could also increase sales!
4. While I do like the addition of the paid assets, I hope this won't be the end of the 'original' MuseSounds line. I've heard that Marching Percussion will be released very soon (hopefully free...?) and Guitars Volume 1 would make one infer that more volumes are in the works... I hope the line of free MuseSound packs keep being introduced! There's lots of requests for euphonium, marching winds, jazz, etc...
5. Lastly, I just wanted to know that if I have the beta of the new hub installed, will I need to re-download the official release hub when it is finished, or will it automatically update?

Love the new hub (plus it works with MS4 installation now.
I also love the new sound packs, some great additions here.
One question me and many other musicians have is how long is the sale going to last, so we can plan our purchases?

1. Yes, I imagined that it was a choice, but I think that for an app that should be opened all the time from the pc turning on is far better to have di icon only on the menu bar, even if it's a "full window" app, an example is Adobe CC, which is exactly like that, so I can suggest to add this option in future releases.
2. The strange thing is exactly that, the switch seems to be turned on, but the banner is still there!

5. Yeah, the first 4 issues are really minor (even the second one, I mean I get the banner but it seems to work the same), this one instead is a really annoying one cause I can't get complete muse sounds in my orchestral project, and when I try the playback the missing instruments are muted!

I'm loving the new look and layout plus the option to buy new sounds, I jumped right in taking advantage of the sale and bought most of the cinesamples.
My issue is, regardless of whether I'm on my Windows or Mac version, the majority of downloads seem to get stuck on downloading. Most can be solved by quitting muse hub, reopening, clearing the cache and off I go. But not CinePerc. It downright refuses to download. Am I doing something wrong? Ideally I would like to be able to use content that I have paid for rather than ask for a refund

Wow! This is nice! Love the new layout—although I don’t really like what muse group is doing at the moment…. I’m curious how the Muse Sounds versions of these really good libraries are so cheap? Is it because they sound so cheap? I honestly feel like they don’t even sound as good as the free Muse Sounds. Kind of stiff. Odd because these sounds are some of the most famous.
Could there be links to the muse websites?

Just installed this morning on MacOS Ventura but:
- before, the icon would reside in the top bar with automatic startup but the full window app wouldn't open, good.
- now, if I select "startup at Mac login", the full app appears on my desktop each time. Maybe something I didn't installed correctly. If it's usual behavior, I would like only the top icon...

Is "Library/PrivilegedHelperTools/com.muse.museservice" still necessary or only a remnant of the old app?

On macOS, the com.muse.museservice is a remnant of the old app... you can delete that if you like.
- we'll investigate the startup behaviour; I agree it should launch, but minimised into the tray... otherwise it's a bit annoying (though I note that other "on startup" apps follow a similar behaviour, like Spotify). Thanks for reporting!
Paul Mitchell - we've released an update which will hopefully address some of the stuck downloads... let me know if you still are experiencing issues once you're running 2.0.14 (you can see the version number at the bottom of the settings page)
Jonas Marshall There'll be new Muse Sounds packs released, including new free ones... some of the upcoming libraries rely on new features/functionality in MuseScore, and some are just still in production etc. But, there's a nice pipeline coming through!

I want to ask an another question regarding the payment method. I prefer to pay out bills through Paypal however which can not be found in the musehub. My bank card is not available for musehub, so I hope to pay for the sound bills by the Paypal.

Hi! Just updated MuseScore to 4.4 perfectly but when I installed the latest MuseHub it has a startup error, "Unable to load DLL "ServiceCore.dll" or one of its dependencies. (0x8007045A)". Downloaded suggested Windows Runtime SDK and installed it, reinstalled MuseHub but nothing yet. Any idea for what the problem might be?

Dominic Maas Worked like a charm! Thank you so much for the support! MuseScore has been my favourite music notation app for a year now. Previously, I used Guitar Pro 5-8 and never made the jump into Sibelius or Finale since both of them were overwhelming, but MuseScore was really intuitive and is extremely powerful. Now that MuseHub is at version 2.0.19, did you fixed the behavior on the Mac side? I mean that at first, new MuseHub wasn't residing in the tray and disappear from desktop, like the older version.
Just wanna know as it's the only thing preventing me to upgrade to the version 2.

Hello,
I know that this might be a little late and long, but I hope someone reads this. I found out there's a new Musehub version TODAY, that was launched 2 MONTHS AGO!! and this should not happen since I use Musescore Studio every day and I am a musescore.com Pro user. There wasn't any notification in the old Musehub app either. So I guess something is not working with the marketing team, at least they should have sent us an email or something, but maybe I missed it, I've been busy lately.
About a month ago or so, Muse Sounds Choir Stopped working, and with one of the latest updates, every Muse Sounds Library dissapeared from the Musescore Studio and I didn't had the time to find out what was it until today, that I found there's an all new Musehub app, which was the problem.
I am a professional arranger, and had to finish many scores for a concert, so I went back to Sibelius. I still have the 2019 version, before it went to a subscription version, but I also have Noteperformer 4, which is a library that sounds close to the Muse Sound new libraries (though sounds a bit more realistic and has some additional options which the Muse Sounds libraries don't. I haven't tried the latest updates though)
Even though I am also a power user of Sibelius, it was a pain to go back to it (I haven't used it for about 6 months), because it's harder to use and if you forget a command or two, you lose a lot of time finding out what was it again, BUT still has some advantages over Musescore Studio.
Now that I had some time to fix Musescore Studio, and found out about all the new features in the new Muse Hub, I don't think am going back to Sibelius again.
Congratulations on the new partnership with brands like CineSamples, I used them in a DAW environment and are the best I have tried. I almost buy the Musio everything bundle to use it with Noteperformer and Sibelius, but fortunately I didn't. Now I am thinking about buying all the CineSamples extensions from Musehub, although I read that there are some bugs (specially with Voxos) but I hope that you will resolve them in the near future and that they sound great.
I apologise if this was too long, but I would like to contribute to develope the Libraries and the MuseScore Studio app, and even the Musescore.com website. Let me know if this is the best way to do so. I will be posting some stuff in this Forums, hope you have the time to answer them.

Hello,
I'm just looking about how can i open "downloaded" muse hub, because that muse hub won't opening but make my CPU overheats. the image below is the happening after we tried to opening the muse hub:
the window shows the muse hub is overheating the CPU with 101.5% of CPU usages. and as i seen, this windows shows the CPU usages what applications how many CPU does use, and i checked out about the muse hub's using CPU. https://easyupload.io/sk62wo this web is where i uploaded due for i can't upload .txt file in this comment.
We are finding why for half of years but i can't find these issues that why i can't use this muse hub. also i can't use recent version because it's already upgraded; so it's unusable to now. I wish the hub team would help me or show me the issue(Or i'll can't unable to open this for a many moments or more as forever).
And i think we should get the log from this recently... so i got the console(from Macbook Pro) access and find about "Muse hub" and here the log about it that accessed at all. https://jpst.it/44yYK I can't put it in the code block so i do this.
I don't know why it's crashing the launch because i can't know with looking the logs; so i hope to whoever knows why.
Unfortunately the muse team still didn't update about crashed muse hub launches; so i may request to muse team(Or update team if exists) update about the muse hub launches' crashes issue fixed, so i can able to use it. This issue is messing up my MuseScore uses' sounds idea because i can't download another sounds.
I apologize to muse team and who seeing this when it's too long for read. hope to have a time to fix this issue.

On a different matter and sorry for previous poster:
Last time I tried the new MuseHub (maybe version 2.0.20), it was still going full screen (not minimized) once booted up.
Fortunately, I have a backup of the old installer so I am still on version 1.
Does 2.0.30 now minimize on startup?
