The new Muse Hub is under active development, and as such, there are some known issues with workarounds.
-
(macOS 12 only): Previously downloaded Muse Sounds aren't migrated after installing the new Muse Hub. After downloading a new Muse Sounds pack from the new Muse Hub, you may find that your previous Muse Sounds installations don't show in MuseScore Studio.
- Workaround: Install the free Muse Sounds again from the new Muse Hub.
-
The Muse Wallet requires a card on file to be topped up. We are working to enable alternate payment methods for the Muse Wallet.
-
It isn't possible to apply the Muse Wallet balance towards larger purchases.
- Workaround: Have a card on file by adding it to your account, at https://account.musehub.com. We are working to enable applying Muse Wallet balance towards any purchase.
-
(macOS 12 only): The Muse Hub application must already be open to authorize/license plug-ins, applications, and Muse Sounds. On macOS 13/14, the Hub will open itself, but remain hidden in the taskbar when a licensed product needs to verify the license state with the Hub.
-
You can't share purchases between Muse Hub and StaffPad.
-
Please note that we are working to enable you to sign in to Muse Hub from within StaffPad, which will synchronize your existing purchases across all platforms. Hang tight for now!
-
- Localisations aren't available yet
- The new Muse Hub will be available in multiple languages soon, but for now Muse Hub is in English only.
Please remember to report any issues to us via the support form at support.musehub.com, or for product specific issues, using the bug reporting feature found within Muse Hub itself.
